ROBERT G. BAUER

Robert G. Bauer was born in Philadelphia in 1949, was admitted to the Pennsylvania Bar in 1975 and is admitted to the United States District Court for the Eastern and Middle Districts of Pennsylvania and New Jersey.  He was admitted to the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit in 1987 and the United States Supreme Court in 1990. 

He was been certified as a Civil Trial Attorney by the National Board of Trial Advocacy in 1995 and re-certified in 2000 and 2005.  He is a member of the American Association of Justice, the Philadelphia and Pennsylvania Trial Lawyers Associations, and the Philadelphia, Lehigh and Northampton County Bar Associations. 

Mr. Bauer’s practice areas include complex personal injury litigation, construction site accidents, electrical injuries and products liability claims.  He has lectured to other attorneys on the subject of construction injury liability.  He was named a SuperLawyer by Philadelphia Magazine in 2005. 

He was lead counsel in a $5.2 million settlement for a cable installer who received an electrical injury and trial counsel in a jury verdict in Western Pennsylvania for $2.9 million for burn injuries suffered by an electrical engineer who was injured in an electrical explosion.  He is the President of the firm and has been the Managing Partner for over 20 years.
